I have a new student in class. He came this morning. I now have 12 boys and 7 girls. :-) He seems to be very bright, and I'm still waiting to see about behavior. It usually takes a day or two to see how they act once they are comfortable in class. His name is Marcus.
I am trying to come up with two words to describe each student in my class. One of our secretaries is going to post their name with the words beside it. I am browsing a list of adjectives, and ones like "moody", "ill-tempered", and "difficult" are standing out. :-) However, I am picking words such as "active", "curious", and "adventurous" instead. ha
Today I am wearing flip-flops. Very unprofessional, especially when one of my largest boys stepped on one of them when I was walking. He was being a goof-ball anyway, so that did not help.
Well, I must go get my kids. We should have an interesting afternoon. They enjoying showing off to the new kid. :-)
