Friday night, Jessica, Ben, and Hannah came to Tulsa for a visit. Saturday we all went to the lake, and I got an impressive sunburn. Today my shirt has not been sticking to my back as badly as it has been, so I am thankful. However, my back is now starting to itch -- quite a predicament when touching it hurts.
We really enjoyed having Jessica and Ben to see us. Hannah is here for two weeks. Grandmother came Sunday afternoon, and she unexpectedly left this morning (storms are coming, and she would rather be home).
Yesterday Grandmother, Hannah, and I went to the Gilcrease Museum. We actually enjoyed ourselves, and I don't think I would have had nearly as much fun without Hannah. She actually enjoyed looking at the artwork, and we would try to figure out the different stories or meanings of the paintings. At one point, I saw her staring intently at some artwork in a glass display case (pottery or something like that). I walked over to have a look and discovered that she wasn't exactly looking at the artwork...there was a spider on the side of the glass case, and that is what captured her attention. :-)
Today we are just staying around the house. I enjoy being "inside" the house on a day like today. :-)
