This week is Red Ribbon week, and today we wore hats and sunglasses to show that we are "too cool for drugs." ;-) Tomorrow is pajamas day...I still haven't quite figured out what to do about that one. How exactly do I teach in my pajamas?? It should be quite interesting.
My kids are still doing fairly well. I have one or two who cause me to work on my patience skills, but overall they are still a great class. :-)
Evan and I went shopping at the mall last night because I needed to get my ring inspected and I wanted (can you believe it?) to shop for a couple of sweaters. Well...I soon figured out the vicious cycle of my hatred for shopping. Here's how it goes: 1) I go shopping, 2) I get very frustrated b/c the clothes I am looking for do not exist, 3) I say that I hate shopping, 4) six months pass, 5) I decide that I need to go shopping and wonder if it was really that bad, and 6) see number 1. :-) Obviously I bought nothing last night. Ahhhhh well.
You know, the past two days I have been feeling very odd. Food is not my friend. I am not really getting sick, but I have yet to find the right balance between hungry and overfull. Yesterday I had to throw away my soup because I couldn't eat it (when it was perfectly fine the day before), and today I have been hungry, but everything I look at or try to eat just makes me feel a little "off." You know, this could get frustrating.
Tonight I am not taking any grading home, and I am hoping that we will get to go walking with the dogs. We treated them for fleas last night, so I am hoping that they are "flea-free" today. Ick. I don't like fleas, in case you were wondering.
Okay, now I am just making things up to talk about. Blah, blah, blah. I need to go home.

Do you know you've only posted 9 times since school started?
Not that I'm complaining... ;-)
