For any of those who will tire of reading about babies, you may want to quit reading this blog. I can tell you that this blog's content will have MUCH to do with babies and baby topics from here on out. :-)
I got to see my baby yesterday!! I must say, he (or she) is the cutest, sweetest, most precious baby in the whole world. :-) (Okay, so this blog will also contain highly biased opinions as well.) Anyway, I didn't get to hear the heartbeat, but I got to see it! Nothing like it. Seeing a heart beating in a little baby that is only 2.42 cm long is just amazing. :-)
Today I am feeling okay. This morning I was a little yuck feeling when I got up, but I am learning to just "keep on trucking," and sometimes that helps. I think my main problem was that I had to brown a roast to put in the crockpot, so I don't think that helped my stomach much.
One odd thing that I have found I absolutely cannot bear now is broccoli. When I first found out about everything, I was doing really good about eating broccoli and other green veggies. However, once the nausea set in, broccoli has become forbidden. I even tried to make myself eat it last night, but it just didn't work. I think I drank a whole glass of water to down one piece of broccoli. ha
Well, today is my last day of school this week, and I am very happy about that. I am hoping my brother still gets to come up for Thanksgiving because I am really looking forward to seeing him. Although, I do think it will just make it harder not to tell him. :-)
