Anyone want my job? Okay, so the day has gotten better as it has come to a close, but I still would love to give my job away. Report cards went out yesterday, so today began the barrage of parents who didn't know that their sweetheart's grades had fallen so badly. I made a copy of one of the student's progress report (given in the middle of the semester) to show that they DID know that their little darling's grades were bad. Another child I will probably allow to do some extra credit work because, although I had called his parents to let them know that a bad influence was bringing down his attitude and grades, I guess I never spelled it out. Argh. There is not enough time in the day.
Last night Evan decided that the dogs needed bathing, so we set out to conquer that chore. I helped him bathe my 70-pound Gimli, and I took Gimli in the kitchen to blow-dry (it was going to get quite cool at night; we couldn't leave them wet) while Evan bathed Monty. Well, Gimli is quite afraid of the blow dryer, and I was not able to hold him AND blow-dry at the same time. I even got out treats, but he would not even be bribed. :-) So I had to wait for Evan. Ah well, at least I can bring them inside with me tonight, and they won't stink.
Success: I bought a 32-oz. water bottle to bring to school every day; today is the first day I have completely emptied it. Only 32 more ounces to go to meet my daily goal. :-)

That's not very much water!
Sorry, I don't want your job....your pregnancy job, maybe, but not your teaching job. And I don't think you're about to give that one up. :-)
Naomi - work on the husband before the pregnancy!
You are supposed to have at least 64 ounces of water a day. Do YOU get that much, or am I the only one who struggles?
Hahaha, Courtney.
I think my bottle is either 16 or 24 oz. and I probably drink about 4 of them in a day - most of the time.
Wow, I'm impressed. Of course, I am a little restricted in my bathroom breaks, so I tend to be a little cautious so I don't make myself miserable. ha
HA. Yeah, I guess I can go to the bathroom anytime I want. Let's call it one of the perks of my job. lol
