First Doctor's Appointment

We finally got Nathan in to the doctor for his 5-day check-up (he is eleven days old). ha He is nine pounds four ounces, and he has grown an inch. He's a healthy little bambino. :-) Even though he looks healthy, it is nice to have the doctor confirm that he is gaining weight and doing well. When you aren't doing bottles, you have a hard time knowing exactly how much he is actually getting. I guess that is why they told me how many dirty diapers he should have a day. ha

I am doing much better now, too. I can actually think ahead to having more kids without it scaring me silly. ;-) Last week I thought we might just have to adopt the rest. :-) It's a good thing I've changed because I don't think adoption is an option with Evan.

Nathan still likes to be awake at night. He slept for a while last night then woke up at three this morning and decided to stay awake for a while (even after his mother had fed, changed, fed, changed, played with, and rocked him). He finally went to sleep around six (the time Evan got up to go to work). Of course, he would pick a night to stay up when his mother couldn't sleep in the next morning. :-) So, I think I may be slightly tired tonight.
