Nathan still has a snotty nose, and I do believe I have snot spots on my clothes. :-) He has been quite needy today, and I'm realizing how well he normally plays now that he isn't playing well. Funny how that works. I should've posted yesterday because throughout the day I was thinking, "I should write this on my blog" and now I can't remember what it was.
My floor.is.dirty. And I just mopped on Monday. I think dirty floors are part of the territory when one has a 14-month-old child who is feeding himself. I.do.not.like.dirty.floors. Evan told me a couple of months ago that I am obsessed with my floors. I can't help it. I like to be able to walk barefooted on my floor without feeling the crumbs of the day crunching under my feet. However, unless I want to mop 4-5 times a day, clean floors are just not an option. Especially when my lovely son decides that he does not want any more banana and it must leave his sight immediately...meaning the banana goes on the floor. Beautiful. Oh, and today, when I was cleaning around the boy's highchair with a paper towel, he launched his cup overboard and it hit me in the head. Sigh. I'm trying to be a good momma, really I am, but some days I just do not know what to do. Ah well.
Okay, on to better memories. I sooooo wish I had brought the camera outside with me today, although it probably would've gotten wet. I had taken Nathan outside (the only place he was happy today), and I decided to wash my car. Nathan loves bubbles. He loves foamy bubbles. Foamy bubbles make wonderful mustaches, especially when they are being tasted by little humans. ;-) Nathan kept trying to take my big sponge, so I got him a little sponge and put him to work. He actually washed some of the car with me.
