Zoo!

So, we went to the zoo today without the stroller. :-) The rest of the week is supposed to be rainy/sleety and cold, so I decided that we should have a day out. And that we did. Nathan is sleeping right now. He walked around most of the zoo, so I imagine he is tired. He was actually pretty good and really did well holding my hand (meaning he didn't fight me the many times I had to remind him to hold my hand). ha Of course, we were there almost two hours, so he was really tired by the time we left. And just to make sure that I remembered that he is, in fact, a toddler, he decided to throw a fit about leaving the "ball" at the entrance of the zoo and force me to carry a kicking and screaming toddler away from the zoo. ;-) I didn't really mind. He had been great most of the day.

Oh, big news!! Sunday Nathan actually peed in his potty!! Not on the bathroom floor, kitchen floor, his foot, Mommy's jeans, or any other place that he has managed to pee in the past few weeks, but in the POTTY!!! Yesterday was a "no go," but this afternoon when we got home from the zoo he said "potty" and actually went!! Great! Now I get to look forward to potty training. Ugh. I shouldn't think about that when I am so tired. ha
