Potty Training...

Stickers, training underwear, potty chair in the living room...these are things you would find if you visited my house right now. I have been very back-and-forth on my approach, but I finally decided that whenever we have relatively "calm" days, we will have a potty training day. The last two days have been potty training days. In this house, that means you will find a little boy running around in a shirt and underwear, a shirt and no underwear, or without clothes completely. We had two accidents yesterday and one today. Accidents are times when he goes in his underwear (or directly onto the floor) whenever he is awake (he wears diapers while sleeping). Accidents aren't the times that he tries and misses the potty or stands up in process to, well, nevermind. Today I have only used one diaper, the diaper I put on him when he went down for a nap. Yesterday I had to watch him closely for the "signs" of needing to go. This morning he actually went to his potty twice without me even asking. Of course, a little later he had an accident as I was asking if he needed to go (he was distracted by his ball). ha I guess my thinking is that it will probably take him a while to think about something that he has never had to think about before. :-) So, be prepared to read potty talk. It's life right now. :-)
Oh, Evan, Nathan, and I went shopping last night for clothes for Evan. We were right by super Target, so I decided to run in and try the diaper deal once more since I think the diapers won't be on sale after today. I didn't have my Pampers coupons, but I was able to use both Target coupons!! I got 3 packages of wipes and a jumbo pack of diapers for $4.50! Now maybe I won't have to buy any more diapers. :-) Okay, maybe that's a bit too optimistic.
