Today at Target and Walmart...

I went to Target first today to take advantage of a Pampers diaper deal; the deal wasn't as good as I thought it would be, but it was still cheaper than I normally pay for diapers!! I paid $7.49 for 3 pack of wipes and a jumbo size diapers package. Anyway, for the stuff in the picture, I paid $2.78. The Olay bodywash was work! Target is crazy when it comes to coupons. I saw the Olay bodywash on a clearance shelf for 96 cents. I had a $1/1 coupon and two o$1.50/1 coupons. I also had an e-mail in my coupon carrier from Target that said they would adjust the coupons down to the price of the item. The cashier was really nice but told me that it was impossible. So I asked her to take them off my bill, which she gladly did. I was going to just leave, but then I thought, "I am tired of not knowing whether or not Target is going to take my coupons." So I went to Customer Service and talked to a manager. I told them that I just wanted to know their policy so that I wouldn't be trying something that is impossible or against store policy. The manager took me to a register and rang up the items, rang up the coupons, then adjusted the coupons down to the price of the items. Right then, my cashier walked up, and the manager had her watch how it was done. I was feeling really embarrassed, but she was really nice and said that she just didn't know. I wonder why they don't include that in their training? I guess that shows how seldom people use coupons.
