Bedtime

Evan is teaching Nathan how to say his prayers at night, and I am trying to keep up with him. My family always did the blessing at night, and Evan's family always did bedtime prayers (we did, too, but I think the blessing was what I always remembered most). Anyway, one of the things he says is for God to bless Mommy, Daddy, Noni, Poppi, etc. He usually goes through a big long list made up on his own. Tonight's list included all the normal family members plus crackers (Mommy attempted to make some today), a boy (his exact words), and My-me. A few weeks ago he started wanting me to tell stories about My-me, and I have no clue who that is. When I say, "My-me?", he says, "Yes." Usually he will repeat a word until I say it right, but he obviously thinks I'm saying that word right. Anyway, My-me is a boy who does normal boy things. :-)
Storytime is a very important part of Nathan's day. Sometimes he will say, "Storytime?" If I don't get the hint quick enough or if he wants to bypass that altogether, he will just say, "Momma, what story?" Meaning, Momma, ask me what story. :-) So, I have to say, "What story, Nathan?" Then he will pick an animal, person, or thing as the subject of the story.
He currently loves to run his monster truck off anything that causes it to crash loudly. He also likes throwing things, making loud noises, and making crazy faces to go with those noises. He loves for me to make faces and frequently tells me, "Go mad," while demonstrating what face he wants me to make. Then he laughs hysterically while I make a face.
In other news, on our way back from a quick run to the store for sesame seeds, I looked back at Nathan to find him holding two empty sesame seed containers (the small ones). :-( Luckily, once I got home I discovered that the vast majority had been poured into the cupholder attached to the side of his carseat. I honestly thought all spice containers came with the impossible-to-open seals on top.
