Cutting a molar

I knew something had been weird with Nathan the last week or so. He has been putting things in his mouth a lot, wanting to eat constantly, and being a little louder and more abrasive than normal (believe me, there is a difference). I think he deals with pain by trying to drown it out. Seriously. He used to do that after he dirtied his diaper and didn't want to slow down enough to let me change him. He would start running around yelling and hollering; then I would finally get a clue and check his diaper (usually it was a hurtful one). Anyway.
Today he had SIX bowel movements. SIX. I am happy to say that each one was in the potty, but I still knew something was up. When Evan got home tonight, he was tickling Nathan while Nathan laid back in Evan's lap. I guess Nathan's mouth was wide open, so Evan was able to see a molar coming through! Ouch! I wonder if that may have been some of the reason for his ear hurting last week. ?? You just never know. I'm glad to know that there was probably a reason for Nathan's change in behavior over the last couple of weeks, though; I was beginning to think I'd created a monster. ha
