are a pain in the head...even when they're gone! :-)
Yes, they are out, and I am counting down the first week hoping that I get no dry sockets. I don't even care if I get Thanksgiving dinner or not; I just don't want dry sockets. :-)
Mom is here helping me with Nathan. Okay, nix that. Mom is here taking care of Nathan. That would be more accurate. She mentioned on the phone to my dad today how nonstop Nathan is. I thought that was quite funny. :-) I also got to hear her sound a bit like me as she was talking on the phone.
I am very thankful to have her here, though. The surgery went well. I only almost passed out once, and it was when the dentist/surgeon was explaining all the risks involved and mentioning several times that I should've had this done sooner. Not helpful now, ya know? It's not like I'll get a second chance at this. :-) He was really nice, though. He even let me lie down and put a wet paper towel on my head. What a dork I am. I did so well up until he started drawing on my X-rays!!
Now I'm moving forward, counting the days (and the pills). I just keep thinking that if I can get past the first week, I'll be doing good!
