Under the weather

Such a pity. It is supposed to be nice today, for a change, and Nathan is not feeling well. I noticed him acting whiny after we got home from library time, and he wanted to sit on the couch and rest. :-) He had been running and playing like normal at the library. I sat down and read to him, and I noticed that he was warm, so I took his temperature...100.4. I read a while longer; then he fell asleep on me for a minute. He felt even more warm, so I took (tried to take, anyway) his temperature again. It was 101.5 and still going by the time he was through with having the thermometer in his mouth. I made him some chicken broth and noodle soup, and he scarfed that down. I had put carrots, celery, and tomato in, but he left all those behind. ha He's taking a nap now. I'm hoping the rest will help him feel better.
