Texas Trip

Our Texas trip was interesting, to say the least. :-) I don't have much time to blog, so I'll do my "list form" of the highlights.
--We ran over a one-gallon bucket on the turnpike. Mom and I spent about 20 minutes on the side of the road trying to figure out how to get it out from under the car.
--Noelle did not sleep well at all while we were there. She went out with a bang, too. The last night we were there she and I were up most of the night. Not fun.
--Nathan was playing on the front porch while I ran inside to put my hair into a ponytail. When I got back outside, he was gone. I looked around the house then spotted him down in the pasture with PeePaw. PeePaw was walking him back toward the house, so I met them in the pasture. PeePaw said that he was driving down to the garden when he saw a little kid running behind him...barefooted and tamborine in hand. ha Nathan had gone under the fence and taken off across the pasture when he saw PeePaw.
--PeePaw asked Nathan if he thought he (PeePaw) was pretty. Nathan said, "No, you're not pretty; you're old."
--Jess' wedding was beautiful, and she was a beautiful, happy bride. She didn't know until after the wedding that her wonderful cousin and bridesmaid had almost fainted during the wedding and had to sit down on the steps during the whole ceremony.

Your dress looks great. Nathan looks ADORABLE with his little suit on. And you had two sleeping kids in the car??? Or was that a fluke?

And now I know where you were. :-)
