Currently

Nathan says "shocking!" if something surprises him.
Noelle loves to dance and spin.
I thought yesterday that Nathan was reverting to baby language until I figured out that he was only copying an Indian (Native American) talking in The Sign of the Beaver (a book we're reading).
Nathan and Noelle together have an effective method for keeping my floors looking as if a tornado has gone through the house.
Evan is taking finals this week. I would be excited except that someone happened to mention the amount of traveling his "goal" job requires. Hrmph.
Nathan absolutely loved the broccoli and shrimp alfredo I made this evening (complete with homemade sourdough noodles). He kept saying, "Mommy, thank you for making that. I enjoyed it very much. I just really liked that."
Noelle makes a hilarious snarling face sometimes when she's dancing. Is she copying Evan? Hmmmm...
Nathan walked into Noelle's room while she was napping today. After being asked the ultimate question (why?!?!), he said, "I know I heard her. She just heard me coming, laid down, and went to sleep. She's like a possum."
Noelle is saying quite a few words. Please, all done, cheese, teeth, head, eye, ear, and others.
Nathan is beginning to sound out small, three-letter words. I'm not really working with him, though. It's almost Christmas, you know.
I do love my kiddos. I kind of wonder what life would be like if I had a maid to do the chores while I just played with my kids. :-) Ah well, I can dream sometimes. ha!
