Evan shoveled the driveway today. I helped, but since I only had a regular shovel, I don't think I was a whole ton of help. :-) We had fun, though, and I'm pretty sure we'll be sore tomorrow. I still haven't recovered from shoveling snow a couple of weeks ago. Ugh.
Nathan got to play outside for a while today, but Noelle's snow-playing was relegated to indoors. She still had fun. My kitchen floor is a MESS. Horrid. ha By the way, Mom, I put vaseline on Nathan's face today, and I think it really helped. His cheeks got really red but only from cold.
I made hot chocolate (okay, hot carob drink) for us, and I even made cookies today. Tonight I made Potato-Leek soup and heated up some chicken drumsticks that were in my freezer. Now I wish the dishes would do themselves. ha I'm getting close to having laundry done! Weather like this makes me wish for a laundry room that was heated. :0-)
You know, I think I'm liking the no-FB thing. I actually blog. ha

I'm glad that ya'll are having fun! Sometimes it's just what you need! Glad the vaseline helped too! :)
Rachel, I love you. And I generally like your food choices. But there's something criminal about substituting carob for chocolate. ;-)
Ha! You're hilarious. The funny thing is that I made it with cocoa powder the other day, and I thought, "Why not use this? As long as it's not the packet with the sugar in it, it doesn't matter whether it's carob or cocoa." Ah well, I do have to try my strange things. I just wouldn't be Rachel without it! ;-)
