Yes, snow again. We got about 3 more inches of snow today. THAT was not in the forecast! Now Evan's clear driveway is in need of shoveling again, but at least it isn't as deep as it was on Wednesday!
My kiddos are actually playing in Noelle's room at the moment. I can hear the blocks, and I'm just thankful they are playing nicely for the moment. Nathan knows that we have company coming over this evening (two sets of neighbors), so he is bouncing off the walls. And Noelle follows directly in his footsteps. :-) I think we may be getting a bit stir-crazy.
Evan went to the store with a neighbor who has a 4-wheel drive; we didn't need anything major. My main concern was butter. :-) Since I'm stuck at home with hungry people, I bake. A lot. Cookies, tortillas, muffins. Okay, well, the tortillas aren't baked, but they still need butter on top. Anyway, he returned with the necessary items. We also got Superbowl snacks, although we aren't sure if we're going to have company or not. This weather is just crazy.
All in all, I'm very thankful. I get to sit home, bake, and watch my children (and clean and wash clothes and clean some more). ;-) We threw some bread out on the snow on our deck and watched the birds from the window this morning. That was quite entertaining. Nathan played for a good while in the back yard, too. He absolutely loves the snow and told me this morning when it started snowing again that it had started because he prayed to God to make it snow more. Mom said I should threaten to lock him in his room if he does it again. ;-) He says he's going to pray for snow for two weeks. ha
