So, this is how we spend our days. :-) We got probably 4-5 more inches of snow today. At least the yard looks prettier now. It was looking very downtrodden before the extra snow. ha

I think we're feeling a bit cooped up lately. Yesterday the kiddos were up and down all day. They would be incredibly cute one minute and the next minute they would be making me pull out my hair at the screaming and fighting. Ahhhhh. Today has been much better.

Evan actually went to work this morning in the snow. He took the car and made it fine. I don't think he relished the idea of a day of working from home again. ha I wasn't too fond of the idea myself. It's much easier when the kids and I can follow our own schedule and I can actually go into my room. The kids also just know when he's home, and they try their best to get into our room. :-) I just hope he is able to get home okay.

It's funny how I seem to get in a baking mood every time it snows. This morning I made a sourdough spice cake. It turned out pretty well. It'll taste even better with cream cheese frosting. ;-) I also cut up enough green apples for one apple pie filling and froze them along with the other filling ingredients. On Sunday I made beef broth, on Monday I made French Dip (with some of the beef broth), and yesterday I made a soup for lunch that had leftover beef broth, peas, corn, and sourdough noodles. Noelle loved it. She actually ate the rest of it today. It's always nice to find something she really loves to eat that is really good for her.
