Evan got up really early this morning to head to a meeting in another city, and he called right after he left saying that there were pink flamingos in our yard. ha I had seen pictures of those in someone else's yard on FB, so I was pretty sure I knew who they were from. The kiddos were very excited to see them. :-)
This morning was rather difficult. Noelle was being very touchy, and Nathan was being extremely aggravating. Of course, he has been inside for most of three days, and his momma has not looked too kindly on any loud/rambunctious behavior during that time, either. (Not that he hasn't done it; just that the momma may have snapped at random times during that rambunctiousness.) Noelle did not help matters. The minute Nathan walked into the living room and said, "Noelle, do you want to play?" She started screaming and said to me, "He's talking to me!!!" Ahhhhhhh.... They actually both settled down once it was time for lunch.
After lunch they both danced and played. Noelle didn't have a single potty accident all day, except for naptime. Noelle took a LONG nap, and I played Legos with Nathan. He thrives on attention. He had been obnoxious all morning, but the minute I was alone with him, he was so sweet. He said that he loved me and even put his blanket around me to keep me warm. :-)
Evan actually got home earlier than usual because of his early start, so that made my day better. I had an interesting, um, note that I found from an interesting lady about my dear son; so I hadn't been in too good of a mood.
The rest of the evening went really well. The kids played with Evan, and even after he left to go study they marched and sang all around the house. :-) We had a good evening.
This post was going to be more informative, but other things have made me less chatty. :-) Goodnight!
