Okay, I guess it is pointless to say that I'm tired. I think for the next few weeks that will just be understood. :-) It's probably a good thing we are going to see Court and Jess in a few weeks so that we can just relax and have a break from the house.
Evan took a half day yesterday to work on the house. I have been staying late at school the past couple of nights (and I will be tonight, too) because the other fifth grade teachers and I are getting everything ready for fifth grade promotion, which is Monday night. When I got to the house last night, I found Evan in the bathroom, crowbar in hand, tearing out the wall. I just stood there and looked at him. ha He said the sheet rock (sp?) was all rotten, so he was tearing it out and would replace it. He said that he found a lot of mold growing and many ants. So he had already sprayed the ants and was cleaning out the wall. Gracious. That bathroom doesn't have a vent and is the one that had the leaking shower pan that the owner had to replace, so I'm sure that is the reason for the mold. Anyway, he said that we could just use the other bathroom and this could be our "work in progress" for a while. I said, "Then why are you working on it now?" He just looked at me and said, "Um, I guess I got distracted." hee hee I can't leave him anywhere by himself! I am now working on putting Kilz on the trim in the bedrooms so we can paint it. That is a very slow job.
Well, I should go. I am having trouble keeping my eyes open, and the day hasn't begun yet. :-) I'm sure there will be no problem keeping my eyes open once the kids get here. :-)

Gracious, I hope you were not actually posting on your blog at 5:35 in the morning.
Fun, fun, fun.
I really meant to bring your new phone number and call to say hi tonight, but I forgot it. So alas, I shall have to catch up with you..hmm...maybe tomorrow?
Sorry to hear you lost your bathroom wall! Gracious! But no wall definitely beats a moldy one.
