July 22nd

I just got up from a nap, and I feel like a bum. However, we went to bed late last night, and I actually got up with Evan this morning! So there. :-) Ben, Jess, and Hannah won't get here until about nine o'clock, so I haven't hit my "frenzy to get things done" energy rush. I have actually made a list of things to do, but even the list is not motivating me right now. :-)

I went outside earlier, and today seems very HOT. I go out a couple of times in the middle of the day to check on Gimli, but today just seemed hotter than the other days I've been out. Poor Gim just walked slowly up to me when I went outside, so I put him in his pool. He still doesn't go in the pool of his own accord, but he always seems to feel much better when he gets out! hee hee This evening I will be getting my pictures from Walmart, so maybe I'll try to post a picture of the little dog.

Evan is so funny. He has been trying to find Irish Setter puppies for sale lately. I have no clue when he decided that he likes Irish Setters, but he has decided and is now actively looking for one on the Internet. I keep asking him if he really wants one (and do we really want another dog?). He keeps saying that we don't need another dog, but "wouldn't it be neat to have two??" ha Irish Setters are not that widespread, so right now availability is keeping him from getting one. :-)

Okay, laundry is calling, and I actually feel up to the task now. See what a good blog can do?! ha ha
