Wow

Okay, that's the best title I could come up with. Do I really report to school on Tuesday?? I am not overwhelmed; I am not overwhelmed; I am not overwhelmed. :-)

Mom and Dad were here this past week. It was great to have them here. They worked about the whole time they were here. :-) I helped Mom sew curtains (she left me with the living room curtains), and Dad did a lot of wiring and random (and necessary) odd jobs around the house. It's nice to have a husband who likes my parents and parents who like my husband, too. We always have a lot of fun when they are here.

I am feeling really out of touch with everyone right about now. We went to Papah's this weekend with Mom and Dad, and we just got home today. I really wanted to blog right before I left because I was really angry at a certain person on that side of the family, but I didn't have time. Ah well, I pretty much ignored the person (and their advice) while I was there, and on the whole the trip was pleasant.

Oh, right before the trip to Texas Monty got really sick, and I took him to the vet. They kept him over the weekend, and he was fine, but at the time they thought he had Parvo (very bad). That Friday was really bad for my overall emotional state, but everything turned out for the best (except that I am very skeptical of this certain vet). Having them take Monty away when he was sick made me have flashbacks about Shiloh, but happily this situation turned out better than Shiloh's did.

Both dogs are now doing well, although Monty is turning out to be quite a handful. :-) I'll have to post some updated pictures of both dogs once I get them.
