I like apples. Apples are good. :-) I am eating an apple right now.
Today has gone well. The students took their math test this morning, and they did fairly decently on it. Or I could say that they did "fair to middlin." Yesterday they took their reading test, and they did awful. Mostly poetry, and I did not teach them about cinquains, diamantes, or sonnets. Awful. I wonder where I am to find the material with which to teach? Do I even know what a diamante is? :-( Well, I guess public school tries hard enough to make their tests look impressive, at least. hee hee
Yesterday afternoon I had a doctor's appt. They took blood. :-( I guess I need to get over that. I actually did well; I didn't feel like fainting or anything. (Hey, I see those eyes rolling!!!! Not nice!)
Well, my kids are back, and they are doing a swell job of getting ready for lunch. Great kids.

"Middlin'"??? Is this some southern word I don't know?
I also don't know what a diamante is. Maybe that's southern too, ya think? ;-)
A diamante is a Japanese poem written in the shape of a diamond. . .1 word on the first line, 2 on the second, then 3, 4 in the middle line, then back down. I understand teaching that in elementary, but a sonnet???
Nausea. . .weird food reactions. . .interesting symptoms.
Hee hee. You're smart! Have you figured it out yet?
