I can make it!

Okay, summer break looks VERY far away from where I am standing. :-)

Actually, everything is going well in class. I have my students working on projects, and I am trying to be as organized as possible. However, next week will be an odd week. Monday I will be at a professional development all day (so I have to make sub plans), Tuesday after school we have grade level meetings, and Wednesday I have to leave right after school is over to be to my dr's appointment by 3:30.

I felt so sorry for one of my girls today. She has been absent the past two days because of poison ivy, and her face still looks awful today. She said that her mom told her that she couldn't take her to the doctor because the doctor was so busy that by the time they got her in the poison ivy would be better. She called her mom today because her face was burning, but her mom couldn't come pick her up. She sat in class with a wet paper towel against her face and tried not to cry. :-( Poor girl.

Well, I must be getting home. I need to get supper ready and let the dogs out. :-)
