Battle

:-) I like that title. We are currently finishing up our reading test, and one boy is "trying" to drive me crazy...thus the battle. I am determined to ignore him, no matter how hard he bangs his desk, how loudly he taps his pencil, or how many times he makes smacking noises with his lips. Oh, would you like to know the reason for this behavior? The counselor came in the room and needed a helper for the assembly this morning, and I picked another boy and not him. So, I got to see a lot of tears and snot in his first phase of anger (he didn't listen to the explanation that he was being loud the entire time the counselor was talking), and now he has begun this new phase of annoyance.

Okay, they are gone now, so I have a bit of rest from his annoyance. I have to get ready for a sub for Monday. Monday will be our last day of the workshop that we have been attending all year, and I am glad that it will be over. I have been happy for the break from school, but I will be glad to be done. Speaking of being done, I only have 12 1/2 weeks of school left. Now THAT is something to be happy about.
