Alive

Yes, I am alive. :-) I haven't been the best about posting lately, have I? Shame on me. However, Evan and I DID make it to our first birthing class last night (does it count that we were late AND the class actually started last week?). Accomplishment, indeed...especially since I spent most of the day yesterday on a field trip with my class. Today was a slight break, and tomorrow we are off on another field trip! I am hoping that I do not feel tomorrow like I feel today. I am feeling VERY prego today. Between Nathan stretching and my stomach aching, I am ready to go home and lay down. Only four weeks of school left!

This weekend we are having company; my aunt, uncle, and cousins are going to come Saturday and stay until Monday morning. I am really looking forward to having them here. I just need to take some time this evening and do some cleaning....maybe. ha I can't believe it is almost May!!

I have jury duty on Monday, and I am hoping that they won't keep me all week. I really need to be at school because of projects that we have going with the kids. I have never had jury duty, so I am interested to see how it all works...just not TOO closely. ha

Gimli has now stopped limping. I guess our "wait and see" method of taking care of him has paid off (literally). Poor thing, he probably doesn't know what to think. I have been trying to teach him to keep away from me (head-butting the stomach, for example, all just from excitement), and he is slightly confused. He just doesn't understand that if I sit on the deck I do NOT want all or even half of his 75 pounds in my lap. :-)

Well, I must go. I have piddled around here long enough.
