Hot and Tired

Whoa. Field Day. That's about all I can say. :-) This morning was decent, but this afternoon was just hot. I carried around an umbrella all afternoon to keep the sun off. There were stations set up all around our playground, and we just went from station to station all day with a one-hour break for lunch. My kids were pretty crazy, and I have several boys whose attitudes have gotten awful this week. I am ready for them to leave and go to middle school. One more day.

Promotion went well last night. I did go home between school and promotion just to rest (and do dishes). It's probably a good thing I did because today I would have been even more tired if I hadn't rested yesterday. I haven't cooked all week, but I really don't feel too badly about it. We had plenty of leftovers and sandwiches to eat. :-) Tonight I suppose I should cook.

I am really ready for my nose to unclog. I have been like this for a little over a week now, and it is getting old. I suppose I could deal with it for the most part during the day, but I haven't been able to sleep well at night, and that bothers me. :-) Enough complaining.

Have I mentioned that I only have one more day with the kids? :-)
