Alright Already

Okay, so it is now two days after my due date, and I am still waiting. That should be all I have to say. :-) This is my second day of non-stop contractions, but we are still wondering, "Is this it?" The doctor said to come to the hospital after an hour of regular contractions, but that would mean that I would have been sitting in the hospital all this time....waiting. I suppose I should be happy that my body is doing SOMETHING productive while it is waiting, but I sometimes have a hard time seeing things in the right perspective. :-)

My parents have been here for two weeks now, and I think they are ready for this baby to be here. :-) We have been trying to think of things to do while waiting, but I never want to get too far away from the house...just in case. Knowing that I am half-way dilated makes me think of how quickly everything could happen once it DOES kick in.

Mom and I went walking this morning, even though we got a late start and it was VERY warm outside once we got to the park. I got to see what a funny shadow I make when the sun is higher in the sky. :-)

Well, nothing else is really happening around here, and I am getting hungry for lunch, so I must go.
