Life definitely changes. I remember the days when Evan and I couldn't wait to go home and hated to leave. Now....it's just a little different. :-) Not that we don't love to see our families or visit, but it just seems to be an endless rat-race the whole time we are there. Evan and I both got horrible indigestion (I used to have a stomach of steel; pregnancy changes me), and Nathan was just exhausted by the time we got home. Part of his problem was probably that he was cutting a tooth. The tooth finally came through today. Ah well. It was good to see our families, and we are sad that we probably won't be going back down until March or so, but goodness it's good to be home. I just wish home were a little closer to "home." :-)
Okay, pictures. The first two are from the weekend with Nonni and Poppi. Poppi introduced Nathan to the wonders of mud squishing through his toes, while Nonnie introduced Nathan to horses....BIG horses (not just the one he was sitting on in the picture). The middle picture is Nathan enjoying the box in which Court and Jess sent him presents. ;-) The bottom picture of Nathan is he and his Grandpa (trying to steal Grandpa's pen). The last picture was taken at MeeMaw and PeePaw's 50th anniversary party. The picture includes MeeMaw, PeePaw, and their four children who were singing a song to the tune of Gilligan's Island. :-) Now THAT was funny.
