Another day

My hubbie worked from home today then had half a day off, so I was very happy. It was actually good timing because I had/have some interesting things going on with me, and it was nice to have the support. ;-) Little Nicholas (I believe that is what we will call him) is seemingly oblivious to his mother's problems, and that is a good thing. He has been moving, kicking, jumping on my bladder, and causing my stomach to harden into strange shapes all day.
Nathan has been really good the past few days, and he is enjoying the fact that his daddy is home. We went out to eat tonight, and he was just so funny. He kept turning around in his highchair, grinning, and waving at the people around him. Two waitresses were off to the side, and he started grinning at them. They started talking to him and laughing, and he gave them his big cheesy grin and laughed right back. ha He definitely loves attention.
I guess I should be picking up toys in the living room right now; we have company coming in tonight (Evan's sister). She just called late this afternoon and decided to come up. I had pretty much cleaned the house a day ago, so I'm not worrying about it. I have been trying to just take it easy today. I'm just glad that I had already stripped our guest bed and washed the sheets and mattress pad after Grandmother left Thursday morning. Goodness, there's another whole post in itself! There were countless times where I just wanted to come in here and write down everything that I was feeling while she was here, but I'm glad I didn't. I'm trying to be a Christian, you know, and it's best to take all your mean thoughts to God and leave them there. :-) Honestly, though, being in the same house with my Grandmother definitely shines a light on all the places in my life where I still need to grow! :-)
Anyway, I must go. I need to get the living room straightened up before Evan gets back from the store. ;-)
