Quiet Evening

It's a quiet evening. My boy is in bed; my man is not here. :-( I am, however, happy that my Grandmother decided to postpone her arrival until tomorrow morning. I think I just need a little peace and quiet before she comes. Of COURSE no one knows why I would say such a thing as that. :-)

I should be doing other things at the moment, but I really wanted to post a few pictures that Mom took this past week while she was here. I don't usually get too many pictures of myself and Nathan since I am mostly the one who takes the pictures.

Anyhoo, I think I am going to pull up my tomato plants that are in a pot out back. Just a tip: don't let your husband plant about nine tomato plants in ONE pot...especially when the little card says to plant them at least 24 inches apart. I didn't get a single good tomato from those plants. My cherry tomato plant, however, did well; and my bell pepper plants are trying to produce. With this heat I have to keep them watered at least 2-3 times a day or they start wilting. Very sad. I'm trying to figure out what to plant in the pot I'm about to clean out. I've never been one to know my plants and their seasons.

I suppose that is all of the random news for now. I had such high hopes for this evening; now I just feel like sitting down and reading. :-)
