I just finished washing my kitchen trash can lid. Isn't that interesting? I really do not like trash can lids because they are nasty, icky things. I suppose mine would not be so nasty and icky if I would just wash it more often. What a thought.
It is raining...again. I have not had to water my bell pepper plants for days now. I almost killed them several times during our two weeks of summer, but they amazingly survived and would go from wilted beyond repair (seemingly) to beautifully perky right after I watered them. However, my green bell pepper plant is not looking so hot right now. Last week I discovered a huge caterpillar on the plant. A huge, green, fat caterpillar. I kindly removed him and set him away from the plant thinking that I had just saved a beautiful butterfly in the making. After a day or two, I noticed him on my plant again, and this time Evan was with me. Evan corrected my thinking (it was a luna moth in the making) and commenced to drowning the poor bug. I protested; I have not been much on seeing anything die lately. Evan relented and threw the caterpillar way out in the yard, almost over the fence. A couple more days pass. I look out the window and see a stickish looking plant where my green bell pepper had been, and who was chilling on my plant but that huge caterpillar!! Evan thinks it may not have been the same one, but I think it was. I have never seen a caterpillar around here like that, so it must've been him. Right? ;-) I think I even recognized him. So, for the sake of my other bell pepper plants (red and yellow), I removed him and tossed him in Nathan's pool. Don't worry, Nathan's pool will be dumped before he swims again, anyway. Poor bug.

Silly girl... smash the bug!
Call it "Advanced Evolution."
ok, so I had to create another blog just so I could comment on yours! Ha
You are so funny, and I enjoy reading your writings! I think you do a great job of letting me "feel what you're feeling" and "see what you're seeing". You did not get that from me!
