A Monday-sort of Tuesday

Evan and Nathan

The only thing unMonday about today is that I didn't do my shopping. :-) Yay! I was able to get a jumpstart on my cleaning, though, so I've already cleaned my bathrooms, washed clothes, picked up our random messes from the weekend, swept and mopped all floors, and vacuumed. I think blogging about my cleaning keeps me motivated. :-) I don't know if that is a good trait or not, but it works!!
This is Evan's last week of his first summer class. He is very ready to be finished with it and the whole program. I couldn't agree with him more. :-)
Nathan loves having his daddy home, although I sometimes get tired of saying, "Evan, I've been working so hard to teach him not to do that!!!" :-) Usually, I am saying that about banging eating utensils on the table or riding toys into each other (they were both on riding toys, yes, both, and they were ramming each other...something his little neighbor friend does not enjoy). Nathan also tries a lot harder to communicate to us. We were sitting at the table yesterday or the day before, and he was trying to tell us something. We were able to get most of it (something that had happened earlier), but it was funny to see him sitting there trying so hard to figure out how to put his thoughts into words. He makes the funniest faces when he is concentrating. :-)
Oh, I made yogurt this weekend! It actually turned out just fine, although I can't ever say plain yogurt is "good." I still can't quite stand plain yogurt all by itself, so I didn't really like having to test it before feeding it to Nathan. :-) It smelled just like the store-bought yogurt, though!
