The Head is Tired

Today was just one of those days. I had an installation man here from eight this morning until two-thirty this afternoon. Oh. My. Goodness. He was really nice, but Nathan is just WAY too curious. "Wat dat?" was asked quite a few times. Honestly, Nathan can get in about three wat dat's before you can even take a breath to answer.
Oh, he used a dependent clause this morning..."I put handprints away because a man is comin." I was trying to teach him his colors using paper and colored handprints while I was ironing Evan's shirts. That worked for a little while.
I think having a strange man at the house most of the day must have tripped Nathan's crazy switch. Well, I don't think having the dogs inside helped. :-) I had to banish the riding toys from the kitchen because Nathan was chasing the dogs around while laughing a crazy laugh. Oh my.
Nathan amazes me everyday with the new things he has learned. His vocabulary and understanding of grammar are exploding. He is getting really good at using pronouns, and his sentences are getting longer and longer. I was amazed yesterday when I was looking at some videos from last December; Nathan was so baby-like!! He has grown up so much in the last seven months.
Anyhoo, our guest has arrived, our garage is full of his possessions, and tomorrow I will be helping him find a new living location. hee hee
