Okay, I'm forcing myself now. :-) We had a good time in Texas. We saw everyone, spent quality time with grandparents and family on both sides, and now I need a vacation to recuperate.
Evan's grandma is not doing the greatest, so he decided to go down for the weekend. Mom and I stayed for the rest of the week.
Nathan got plenty of 4-wheeler rides and even got to ride the tractor once with PeePaw. He loves PeePaw and Papaw (Evan's dad) and would follow them everywhere. Of course, both men go almost constantly, so I think Nathan enjoys the busy-ness. Nathan also got to make cookies with Granny B and see his two aunts in Texas. For some strange reason, everyone seems to just love him. :-) Oh, except when he throws rocks.
We got to see my aunt from Baytown, and I somehow got away without a picture of her (I'm convinced she was hiding). The pictures with the tall trees where from MeeMaw's sister's yard where we met my aunt.
I am so tired. My post is being more of a statement of facts than a telling of a story. :-) My excuse? I did my grocery shopping and errands; then I washed 160 lbs-worth of dogs, although the 30 lb little human probably did more to wear me out. :-)
