Fever free?????

Nathan's fever has broken! Can I get up and shout and run around??!! Yes, I know it may come back, but it actually broke on it's own, without medicine! :-) I took him to the doctor yesterday because his fever spiked to 104 degrees at 10:30 yesterday morning. Not fun. They tested him for strep (negative), and the doctor said he must have a virus. He would've done blood work if Nathan looked bad, but the doctor said Nathan looked fine. The last two nights I've gotten very little sleep; Wednesday night Nathan was up with fever, and Noelle woke up on my off-shifts with him. Last night he was up with a very sore throat, and he hasn't been eating much at all. Noelle woke up more last night, and I think she just didn't like the fact that I put Nathan in the guest room for the night. She would wake up, do a fake cry, and listen. I think she missed her music box. ha
I pulled a frozen chicken carcass (ha) out of the freezer last night and started chicken broth in the crockpot. Today Nathan has been drinking that, and I even made him Ramen noodles (without the seasoning packet) using my broth. Ramen noodles are a rare treat around here, and he isn't used to them enough to notice when I switch the seasoning packet for my homemade broth. ha I also made him some homemade vanilla pudding which he ate hot. I hope his throat heals quickly.
The weather has been cooler than normal the last few days, and I was hoping that he could get in some bike-riding. But I banned him from riding while he had fever, so we've just been going outside to play with chalk. This morning I wrote all the big letters of the alphabet in order down one side of the driveway then wrote all the small letters in random order down the other side. We started trying to "help the little letters find their mommas" by drawing a line from the little letters to the big letters. :-) Of course, I'm sure I sounded really weird talking in a little voice asking where my momma was. ha ha
I think Noelle has yeast now. :-( Mean, mean antibiotics. Ugh. She should be a really happy baby once we're done with these antibiotics and yeast stuff. She's such a cutie. She gets so tickled whenever we play with her now. If she sees something in the floor and sees that I see what she sees, she'll take off crawling toward it as fast as she can, laughing the whole way.
Well, that's all I can think of for now! That, and Evan is home early for this holiday weekend!
