I have not been feeling well today, and I'm not really sure why. Blech. I was hoping to have a productive weekend since I had mostly gotten my house straightened up and cleaned for the weekend. Ah well.
I think Noelle is super-sensitive to citrus fruits. If she has any oranges or grapefruit, she gets horrid, horrid diaper rash. I had kept anything citrus from her for about a week or so, and on Thursday she had some oranges at a friend's house. Later that afternoon, she had awful diaper rash. It was so bad that she still has a blister. Anyway, Friday morning I started putting her on the little potty, and she pooped one time and peed twice. Today she has pooped twice on it. She doesn't seem to want to pee in the potty anymore, though. ha Anyway, her diaper rash is almost healed in all but the blistered spot. Too bad I order so many oranges this month. We have to eat them in secret now because she goes crazy if she sees an orange.
Yesterday Nathan and I cleaned the house. I let him loose with a rag and the furniture spray, and he cleaned and cleaned. I don't know how long it had been since I had dusted. I was able to get quite a few things done while he was dusting, though. Then I swept the kitchen, and he mopped (sort-of). The floor looks better than it did, anyway. :-) He gets so excited about helping, and it's nice that I can trust him to do a couple of things now.
I was even so motivated yesterday that I took them grocery shopping after lunch. Nathan started out being crazy (bouncing the cart, mainly), but he calmed down pretty well. There were a ton of people in the store, and someone said that it must be because the weathermen are predicting snow. ha ha Bad timing for me. While I was standing in the check-out line, Noelle was peeking around the end of the shelf and laughing loudly at a lady in the other line. She is such a ham. She does make people smile, though. :-)
Evan took Nathan's blanket away today to help him stop sucking his thumb. His thumb automatically goes in his mouth when he so much as looks at his blanket. :-( Why did I have to have thumb-suckers?? ha At least we have the thumb guard now, so we'll be able to use it if we need to with Noelle.
That does it for now! Ta ta!
