Our realtor told Evan this morning that the seller has agreed to fix the things we put in our contract, but I'm not sure it is in writing yet. They have five days to get bids and things before their time is up (before they have to either say yes or cancel). So, maybe we will have a house in two weeks!
Today is going well so far. Five of my students are competing in track events today, so I only have 13 students. I could get used to this!
Two of my boys came up to me this morning to ask if I had turned in their permission slips. I said, "Am I a wonderful teacher?" They laughed then hugged me!! I think I gave a rather scared look to one of the TA's who was standing by. ha
The boy that I wrote about on Friday still seems a little down. He came up to my desk and asked to go to the nurse because he has a rash, and I could tell he was about to cry. I think he just wanted out of the room. I asked him if he wanted to go talk to the counselor, but he said no. I guess there really isn't anything I can do for him but pray.
