Summer

I enjoy summer. I don't really like how hot the weather is in the summer, but I like being out of school!!! I've been getting up with Evan (too early) and staying up because Gimli wakes up and is ready to play. He has graduated to being an outside dog (except at night), and we are both adjusting. :-) I kind-of liked having someone follow me around all day.

Yesterday I had a professional development workshop which was fairly useless. I guess they are trying to undo the damage they did with the math series they JUST adopted, but I just see all the money (and paper) they waste, and I am thinking that environmentalists should target education if they want to have any hope of saving trees. :-) I just left the three HUGE binders and two small ones in my car yesterday. Like I have room for them in my house! hee hee However, I did get to visit with Megan and Jackie, and Megan will try to get me into a bigger classroom if one happens to open for this year. :-) It would be nice to have more space, but we'll see what happens.

Well, I must get back to work. I am actually being productive this morning, and I need to keep it up. :-) Jess and Ben are bringing Hannah in two weeks, and Jess and Ben are staying the weeekend (Hannah is staying for two weeks) so I have a deadline to get my house settled.
