Counting Down

Still counting down. Twelve and a half days of school left. Yesterday was an interesting day. I had heartburn and felt awful again almost all yesterday afternoon after I tried to eat lunch. I just brought a sandwich to school today instead of leftovers, and I drank milk with lunch. I am feeling much better today. I think my stomach doesn't like being on my lunch schedule here at school. :-)

It just clicked in my head at lunch that our fifth grade promotion is the same night as our Bradley classes. Argh. I missed the first one, and now I'll have to miss another one. I'm not too happy about that, but I guess there is nothing I can do about it. I knew when I started the classes that I might not be able to finish them (because they go either right up to or a week past my due date), so it is aggravating me to miss any more than I have to. Argh, again.

I am having troubles once again with patience. My students are working on a report, and the report is supposed to be at least 2 pages long. I keep having to answer (or ignore) questions like..."Can it be one page?" "Do we have to do this?"...and showing me a page and a line and expecting me to accept that. ha Ah well. The joys that I will be missing once I quit teaching.
