I really do like blogging

Noelle is still trying to cut that tooth.  Still.  She is not a very happy camper.
I was braiding Noelle's hair this morning and told Nathan and her that I was going to go outside to scoop poop (trash day today) and then come inside to make pancakes.  Nathan started shaking his head.  "No, Mom, you're not going to have to do that."
"Why?"
"Because I'm going to do it."
  Yes, this is what I've been waiting for.  ;-)  And he actually did it.  Noelle and I stayed in the house and made pancakes.  I had one proud boy who ate a LOT of pancakes and was very pleased with himself.

Wow, what an afternoon.  I met a friend and her little boy at a local pool to let them swim.  They enjoyed themselves.  :-)  I got a text from Evan on my way home from the pool saying that he would be late again tonight (it was almost 8:30 when he got home last night).  So the kids and I got baths, and I got our supper ready.  I just finished cleaning all the supper dishes, plus poop off the kitchen floor and my daughter's bottom and underwear.  Evan just called to say that he is headed home (it's 7:45).  He will be out of town tomorrow for the day; then Thursday he is leaving for an overnight trip.  Then Monday he is leaving for another overnight trip.  ha 
All-in-all it's been a good day.  I just have to remember that.  Somedays it's hard to remember when the day ends with poop and pee on the floor.  ;-)  I don't think it helps that swimming with the kiddos wears me out.  ha  This post is going to end like my day, random with a side of poop and pee.  ;-) hee hee
(Okay, my kiddos are actually sitting in the hall at this moment looking at a Lego book together.  Nathan is showing things to Noelle, and she is giving the appropriate responses: "Oooooohhhhh!"  "Coooooool!!"
